Academy Conversion Consultation

The Governing Body are consulting with key stakeholders regarding a proposal to convert from being a Local Authority Foundation School to become an Academy and join the Grand Union Partnership MAT.

As with all key decisions, our governors are committed to putting the best interests of our children, our staff and the wider community at the centre of the process. The consultation period will run from 19 April until 17 May 2024.

We have written to key stakeholders and meetings have been scheduled to present the rationale for this decision and provide an opportunity for questions to be explored. These will take place on the following dates:

Meeting for parents and carers on:

• Wednesday 24 April at 3.30pm
• Wednesday 1 May at 6.30pm

Meeting for staff and unions:

• Wednesday 1 May at 4.00pm
