ART


Here at Tickford Park Primary school we want to foster a lifelong appreciation of art in all its many forms. We strive to show children how they can be creative individuals and we aim to give them the tools, exposure and experiences so that they can express themselves artistically throughout their lives..

ART- Curriculum Intent

Our school provides a balanced art curriculum which encompasses colour, drawing, painting, sculpture, printing and textiles, where skills are built upon year on year. We also strive to be dynamic and not rigid in our pursuit of art development and we understand that art expression is constantly evolving, for example, digitally. Cross curricular links are made between art and other subjects, for example, literacy when creating illustrations for our writing and making clay pots for our Greek topic.
